Yep, like GF says hopefully he gets the support he needs. However it does seem like he didn't get the right kind of support before this point.
I understand that it's often difficult to tell how a person is really doing, especially in such a macho environment as a rugby league team where people gloss over issues and put on a brave face, but it does seem that the NRL creates stars but doesn't always support them and look after them enough.
There are benefits to not having huge national media exposure.

Gambling is a massive deal in Australia and its unbelievably hard to avoid/not get sucked into especially with the cash that Barba will have. If its deeper than that then he needs to take as much time as possible.

Hope he get over his problems, he proved last season that he's the best full in the world, and up there with the very best in the NRL.
