No, the area toward the Carnegie Stand will be the first opened and then carrying on whilst each section is completed.

I think that it’ll be the Carnegie stand where the entry to south Stand is for now.

People that are worried about the sound with the roof being high, I’m told that the club are going to alleviate this problem by installing microphones and speakers that magnify the fans noise.

Good acoustic cushioning in the roof to deflect the sound down would do the same.
it obviously will not be as load in the new stand due to the low roof, but i never was one for the south stand anyway. unless you got smack in the middle you could not see much in there. i am thinking of going seated in new SS.

Best piped in sound was at Wakefield, where they didn't just settle for ambient crowd noise to beef up the atmosphere, they had a recorded chant that went 'TRINITY! *clap*clap*clap*'

Sometimes they'd do well just to ignore fans opinions. We're not going to build another 'cattle shed' stand, therefore the atmosphere won't be the same. That's just how it is and people need to accept that.

Stand up to half way now on the standing area. Sections 1-3 of the standing area are now complete. Concrete cast completed up to section eight. Concrete stair slabs on sections 4-7. Crash barriers now complete up to the half way mark.

Concrete cast in place on the seating area up to section six. Section seven includes the entrance to the wheelchair access on the seating area.

On that basis, the majority of the internal is complete up to half way, just the concrete stair slabs to be placed.

They’ve started to put the protective net up on the roof so the cladding on the roof can be done.

They had similar at odsal. I also recall Hull getting into trouble once when they played pre-recorded chants from the Threepenny Stand. The problem was they played a racist chant (You B B)
