Forgive me if I'm sounding thick but is it "DW" after Dave Whelan?

If so you have my condolences.

Yes. :(

He has bought back the old JJB gyms and is rebranding them ''DW Fitness & Retail''.

One thing we will get out of it is that apparently he is going to name one of the stands after a Wigan legend (almost certainly Billy Boston). However, this hasn't gone down well with Latics' supporters.

OK. My bad. Why don't Bradford try it if it gives an advantage?

But that would mean Deacon not playing, so he could come on and witter in the ear of the ref.

So it's never going to happen is it?

And you claim that 2 of our tries were forward passes? Hmm...

Methinks you're mistaken. I haven't claimed that anywhere. I was in the end stand and couldn't tell if the passes were forward or not, so I choose not to comment on it.

There was a funny moment when Pat took the kick, a bloke in front shouted:
"It's ok Pat, if you miss, he'll let you have another go!"
Made me laugh anyway
.

Silverwood wasn't watching anyway, he was too busy getting his instructions from O'Loughlin.

I'm assuming you stand on the terracing just at the side of the main stand then?? If so I was the guilty party who shouted at Mr Richards

And it wouldn't have surprised me if he had given him a second chance, after all he did give them a scrum after they knocked on twice from our short kick off about five minutes earlier!

Can`t imagine why. I mean it`s not as though they can point at a few (or even just one) alternative of their own is it?

Nope.

That's why a few of them are asking Whelan if another stand can be named after Springfield Park, their old ground. It's quite funny, as only a very small fraction of their current support actually went there!

To be honest, the stadium is built for Football and Wigan Athletic. I don't see their problem.
