What a great occasion it was today at York today spoiled by the moron throwing the flare. I hope he gets found out and has one set off up his a***e. Someone could have been seriously hurt.

Agreed. Just no need at all. Ruined the celebrations a little at the ens for me. As i was distracted by that. Lets hope its a one off!

According to Facebook some troublesome Hull KR fans turned up too. Can anyone corroborate this?

I did see a couple of people in the ground wearing HKR shirts and they were stood in the area where the flare was lit.

Was there just 1 flare or 2? one was thrown on to the pitch in front of me, was there one set off right at the back of the stand?

I just saw the one that ended up on the pitch. The smoke seemed to come back into the stand. What a daft thing to do. With only one exit there could have been a panic. I hope the culprit is identified and banned.

There was a second one at the back of the stand, I think one was blue and the other a sort of yellow. It needs sorting and the offenders banned, imo.

Were they definitely flares?

They didn't look Pyro to me.

Not acceptable either way.
