He's playing for the reserves but not getting much of a sniff in the main 17. But the fact that we haven't sent him on loan anywhere suggests to me that he's next in line should either of Smith or Gibson pick up a knock.

John Kear wants as much consistency in the team as possible, a settled side is always preferable. Can't blame him, but I just hope that we're not stunting Ross' development in any way because I think he has the potential to be a very good centre.

I think sometimes we get a bit fixated about which position a young player should play in but sometimes we mabye haven't found that best position yet?

Interesting to hear that he is being linked to come to Bradford when he has to leave Castleford due to restrictions.
If true, it looks like Kear is already looking at players for next year.
This would be a good thing as I think we can let Smith and the other centre go and bring in one ore two better, quicker backs.

To be fair, I wouldn't be surprised if there's not already players lined up to join Bradford for next year. Most teams will notify players towards the end of May if they're going to be getting a new deal for the following season. It's why you do see some players slump around that time of year.

Almost correct, it was Isa who made the tackle. The incident was put on report also.
