Toulouse for Championship in 2017, Super League in 2021!

Avignon for Championship in 2021, Super League in 2022!

There is relief in my neighbourhood that woeful Wakefield have been beaten by hilarious Hull (Sneeeeed!). We cannot have lucky Louies from the west Yorkshire boondocks getting into the semi finals when there are much more worthy contenders like Wigan and St Helens who deserve to be there.

I doubt that the people of such a small village as Chorley have never ventured far enough to have heard of such massive cities as Hull and Wakefield, and the only relief they feel is when their giro's go into the bank.

From a Hull point of view, boy are we going to miss Fonua on that right edge. However, his replacement seems to be in a similar mould. I though Watts was fantastic, and will be great next year playing in the 13 role, but Bowden for me was outstanding and maturing into a really good prop forward

Thought going for the 1 was a really odd decision, would the 1 have even done Wakey any good in their chances of a top 4 spot? Having said that Finn will never have an easier one and it was a shocker

He was stood too shallow in my opinion. Bearing in mind the play the ball was under the sticks he should have stood much deeper to give him more time to ensure it went over, he had to rush it to an extent because he was near enough the try line for Hull defenders to move up and pressure him.

I was hoping Wood would dummy the pass to Finn and then try and burrow his way over given how close the play the ball was to the try line.

What we should have done with the one pointer is Finn should have been a little deeper and we should have had a player to block the closer down...put the shoulder into the onrushing defender like Hull did with Arona when Sneyd kicked his one pointer...

Why are people questioning the decision to go for it?

If it goes over we stay a point behind Hull so still a chance to overtake them if they lost at Cas next week and we beat Wigan...plus if Wigan beat Cas we would still have had a mathematical chance to finish above them if we beat them by enough next week...what it would have done was guaranteed to keep us alive...as it stands now it's all over if Wigan beat Cas so it was a huge point and well worth going for!

Was a great effort though and I couldn't be prouder as a Wakey fan...what a transformation in the last year or two...from million pound game struggling side to challenging for semi finals spots and going toe to toe with the best teams in the comp in what effectively is like knock out football...

Hope the perception of our club is slowly turning...all we need now is to get the long running ground issue sorted and the only way is up!

too positive for the VT, away with you :NAUGHTY:
I've enjoyed watching Wakefield, hope they continue to progress. I think Chester is an excellent coach, with his relatively limited resources compared to the clubs wakey are competing with he gets my vote for coach of the year.

Yep, its all to do with the levelling down in SL.
Trinity are the same as usual but, everyone else has just got worse.

We've yet to play any decent RL and only win when our opposition have an off day :BLAH: :BLAH: :BLAH:
