If you're going to be a grub then maybe committing a foul that leads to a season, and possibly career, ending injury to the nephew of the chair of the disciplinary committee isn't the smartest move.

The only reason they look up to you is because they chose to kneel.

And so you aim towards the sky,
And you'll rise high today,
Fly away, Far away,
Far from pain....

I tend to agree. I've watched it numerous times and I'm struggling to see any malice in the tackle. Looks like Cooper turning at an odd angle while being 2 man tackled, Lussick then makes it a 3 man tackle, which, by doing so, leaves Knowles with nowhere to go but on the back of Cooper as he falls.

What I do find pretty bemusing with these disciplinary charges, is that the RFL appear to be turning a blind eye now to cheap head shots (see Singleton in the same game), while going after players for what could easily be argued are accidental injuries which are inevitable to happen in a contact sport where you can have upto 3 players carrying out a challenge.

Maybe players would be advised to just take out a player with a straight arm to the head, rather than involve themselves in a multiple player tackle?

We would feel it from here if Knowles got 3 and Dudson got 4.

Don’t want to fall out karetaker after comments on yesterday’s thread.
However in my humble opinion Morgan Knowles his the one who should be getting 6 matches and Dudson, 3 matches.
Joe Philbin can also count himself lucky with 2 matches if it’s the tackle which ended the Catalans hookers match is what he’s been suspended for.

Hipdrop tackles, Cannonball tackles and chicken wing tackles are all far worse offences than Dudson’s punch.
They have potential to end a player’s career!
A few years back Mike Mckeenen would have floored Dudson after that incident in the brawl that would have ensued but was disciplined enough to hold back.

Will Johnston play this weekend very probably?
Will De Costa play this weekend very doubtful?
Will Cooper play again this season we await the outcome of scans?

What’s to fall out about. You are right about the offences you say are worse because they are pure poop house types of tackles. Some people have made references to players of yester year but the game is nothing like those days, don’t get me wrong I loved it as much as anyone but the game as been sanatised to death now and as such we all have to go a long with it.

Didn't Ben Flower literally end Lance Hohaia's career? ..

Just my opinions unless it's a FACT, in which case it's a fact.

Yep the actions were the same, but the force used was very different. Not condoning by the way, Dudson is a grad A idiot and the smirk will come back to haunt him.

Cmon,
Flowers punch was landed with 3 times the force on a guy who was already concussed on the floor from the tackle.

I think the point was that a punch can also end someone's career, not specifically Dudson's.

But I generally agree with your point. I'd rather be on the receiving end of a Duson punch than a Knowles hip drop.
