Isn't this read out before every game:

"Rugby League is a family sport and foul, abusive or racist language or anti social behaviour of any kind will not be tolerated. Any person found to be involved in such behaviour will be ejected from the ground"

So there is no room for the sort of behaviour thudder says happened and I would say the stewards weren't doing their job if that was the case. Also, if people were as drunk as he says they could have been charged for being drunk and disorderly.

but seriously, good terrace banter is the foundation to a good atmosphere at a rugby game. I'm just a firm believer of it being unaggressive and I think it can been done amusingly without overly crude language.

I was annoyed with the thought of the "You've only got three stands" chant, even though I didn't hear it myself, I would like to correct you that it's actually:

"You only got 2 stand that get regular use with a third that pretty much only gets used to accomodate the scoreboard and a forth that's taken so long to build it must be being raised by the movement of the tectonic plates themselves"...

admittedly you'll probably have to resurrect Mozart to actually fit that to music.

Ok lets get one thing straight ...am no namby pamby bloke, was in forces for 14 years so seen my share of trouble...(and been up leigh on nights out so enough said!!!).The lads(kids) we are talking about had little regard for what was going on in the game in fact i doubt they would have been able to tell you what was going on ...exactly the same as sheffield and a few other away games this year ...
yeah probably my niece and nephew have heard worse but when i`m feeling like the "kids" were baiting and thats what it was i and everyone around me felt uneasy...and i dont know about you i dont enjoy a game in that sort of situation when am constantly explaining to my youngsters whats going on off the pitch rather than on!! this is my last post on the matter .
all i will say is its not the first time probably wont be the last and all that suffers is Leigh Rugby Club as a whole

so once again children GROW UP please

Swearing happens and in isolation fair do's my language at work is very different to at home

Chanting with humour even with a few choice words , fine no problem

Eventually somebody will take that ' bait ' and I along with lots of other decent fans will be tarred with the same brusg and our/your club will suffer for it

If that was the case, then I completely agree as that would have crossed the line, so to speak (shame Leigh couldn't do that more often!)
