Why wasn't TWP placed under CRL? Why should they be a seperate entity to what Perez set out to do?

The CRL haven't really redeveloped any clubs, all the current existing clubs were founded under their tenure as Canadian RL had died a death a decade before.

TWP are playing in an RFL-governed competition, and have to follow RFL rules & regs to be apart of it, so that's why. If they were playing in a domestic Canadian competition like the other clubs over there, then they'd fall under the CRL. I'm not sure what your point is Atomic?

Your question doesn't make sense in relation to what I said.

I assume it was a facetious remark about how they tried an NFL team here 25 years ago and it didn't work? But that's not really the same thing as a UK-based NFL franchise being part of the existing structure based in the USA. The Monarchs played in that weird European league that just didn't take off.

Anyway, they're holding NFL sell-out games at Wembley to test the market, and it appears demand is there, so I don't think we're too far off. The difference this time is UK-based NFL fans will be able to watch the best players from the Patriots etc, rather than a bunch of no-marks from the Scottish Claymores etc.

I've never claimed that the TWP are governed by the CRL, they're not.

However, is there a connection and working relationship between the Wolfpack & the CRL? Then yes, of course there is, this was clearly seen at the weekend if you needed any evidence.

Come on! I'm not knocking it,but it's simply a promotion stunt,nothing more. TWP will always come before CRL.
