Maybe but at the LSV everytime we went forward and broke their line , one of them went down holding the head refs should be wise to it and at least give a verbal warning. My original point was that the Catalan players seem to have a free reign on foul play. One example being Richie Mylers tripping, was it seven warnings at the last count ?

I'm a Leyther, born and bred.I share the same frustration as all.I don't have an answer,in the same way NJ won't have one. Plenty on here think they know it all.

Lets see.

I dispute your suggestion that our players deliberately engaged in foul play as part of the game plan. TS would never countenance that.

Thanks for the Fanfare Harold

Well Leythersteve, your on dodgy ground on here suggesting Jamie Acton has been unfairly treated :)
I watched the Hull v Wigan game and as soon as Liam Watts smashed McIlorums face in (incidently, McIlorum was concussed  ) I knew Watts would be cleared. Any Leigh player, not just Jamie or Hock would have had the book thrown at them had they committed that offence, don't forget, this was Watts 3rd Red Card of this season
How could he be cleared to play again this season? Its been said the injury was due to poor tackling technique by McIlorum  So presumably, Ben Reynolds must be to blame for Greg Bird smashing his face in :?
There's been a catalogue of incidents since Jamie's, on a weekly basis we see foul tackles not being punished, Willie Isa and Ryan Atkins being two of the most prominent perpetrators. Even our good friend Greg Bird, was given a four match ban for a 'Spear tackle' however, this was downgraded to three matches on appeal as apparently, it was only a dangerous throw
I remember Phil Clarke discussing Acton's actions and saying; he thought the 10 match punishment was harsh, moments later the news filtered through live on Sky that Jamie's ban, had been increased to four Months, on appeal! The look of embarrassment on Clarkes face was priceless  he never said another word! In fact Phil, in future save your 'on Air' criticism for your own club Wigan

Catalan don't take many prisoners, Widnes players will need to wear Crash helmets on Saturday the 'tackling' from the Cats will be fearsome, as always  I wonder what the Review Panel with decide on Monday  Any Cats players suspended for MPG ?
Sam Moe, Justin Horo, Remi Casty,Louie Anderson and Ben Garcia are all rough and tough nuts !
