Wasn't offered a full time coaching role at Leigh, only part time.

After watching the weekend shambles it was a scandal to see him run the water on, pumping with a passion non existent in the team. Baptiste/Higham would be tough to better

I think Mickey has made the right call, retiring. His performances last season following his injuries just underlined, for me, it was time to call it a day. He may be tempted by offer's from over the hill's however, should he suffer more injuries, travelling over the Hills could become very tedious
Know what you mean seeing Mickey with the water, seeing John Woods in the Legends holding a pint instead of a Rugby Ball is also painful

Derek should have replaced Dukes with player/coach Mickey Higham.

Dukes has lost the first and last games of every season. Most big games are lost and we have lost games we should have won he seems to have no way of influencing a game - Warrington in the eights , MPG

I’m sure Mickey would breathe some life into the club.
