I wouldn't say anything, to say he hasn't heard anything and is planning to have him next season, will make him look a bit stupid if in two weeks he is sold.

Cas and Powell made no comment about Clark leaving until it was announced.

Surely you did not mean to say that. There are a number of things he could have said or he could have said nothing. Why bring the subject up at all in an article about another player if he was merely trying to gloss over a difficult situation?

Even if he was asked the question, he did not have to answer in that way. Of course it may be the slant put on it by the journalist. Dealing with the media is a skill in itself which among other things a good coach learns and was something unfortunately Sandy never came to terms with. I hope CC proves to be better.

I mean "club protocol" is the answer Hudge gave when asked why CC said he knew nothing about a move for Josh, then 24 Hrs later it was announced.
This is the same, if a certain 6 isn't signed for next year then Burns will be a Rovers player for 1 last season.

Must have missed Hudge saying that. Do you know who the certain player is then?
