They're there because it's the best competition in the world, they get treated like celebrities and they are idolised above anyone - for the same reason footballers choose to come to the EPL as opposed other leagues in Europe, even if the money is the same.

The fact that there's a lot more money in the NRL is just another reason why players are going over, but money alone won't stop it.

If Hodgeson are Burns do leave us at the end of the season, on todays showing we are going to be right royally fecked next year if we don't bring some quality signings in, as they are the only two that look like they've played the game before at times.

It's plain and simply down to money and I don't blame them for taking it. If JH was offered twice as much to stay at HKR than what the Aussies were offering do you seriously think that he would go?
