Travis burns and adam walker have been charged with grade A punching,along with tommy lee and josh griffin.Tommy lee has also been charged with a grade B shoulder charge which caused the scuffle. Matty ashurst has been charged with a grade B shoulder charge on jason netherton.The only other charge this week is kevin sinfield grade C charge of headbutting luke dorn. They all have till 11am tommorrow to submit early guilty pleas.

Yes so if they take EGP they wont be banned. I think Burns should be made to sit out the next game as a warning that his petulant behavior is not acceptable.

Burns spent 60 minutes getting hit off the ball whilst receiving no protection from the officials. There comes a point where enough is enough and you have to take the law into your own hands. If the ref/touchjudge had seen the late hit then Burns wouldn't have needed to retaliate.
Lets face it, Radders was heavily quoted during the week highlighting Salfords strategy of hitting ball players late so it was hardly a surprise that it was going on.
They go down to 12 men at that point, which should have happened, then we go on to win the game. Lets see if Tommy Lee picks up a ban.

Not the worst tackle ever,but a clear shoulder charge and marginally late,so how can burns get 10 mins in the bin,lee charged with 2 offences from the incident and childs decision a penalty to salford ?

You have to assume because neither him or his touch saw it clearly as either a late hit and or a shoulder charge. What they did see was Burns caused the scuffle and resulting fight(s). For this, he got binned. What they must have turned a blind eye to was the clear punches thrown from both Walker and Burns and I guess the other two charged. They had a long enough talk about it all and I guess the easiest option they saw was to let the fight be decided by the panel and bin Burns for his reaction.

How on earth do you come to the conclusion Burn's punches were ignored if he was binned???
