You have to assume because neither him or his touch saw it clearly as either a late hit and or a shoulder charge. What they did see was Burns caused the scuffle and resulting fight(s). For this, he got binned. What they must have turned a blind eye to was the clear punches thrown from both Walker and Burns and I guess the other two charged. They had a long enough talk about it all and I guess the easiest option they saw was to let the fight be decided by the panel and bin Burns for his reaction.

He was looking straight at it. Saw Lee's tackle and waved play on.
I was in Hutton stand and was in line. He crouched to see the kicker as he saw Lee running in. He also saw Hodgson put the ball on the line then lose it to then disallow the try.
If anyone can explain how they come to their decisions I'd be glad of the explanation.
Cleary all Sandercock´s fault.

Burns spent 60 minutes getting hit off the ball whilst receiving no protection from the officials. There comes a point where enough is enough and you have to take the law into your own hands. If the ref/touchjudge had seen the late hit then Burns wouldn't have needed to retaliate.
Lets face it, Radders was heavily quoted during the week highlighting Salfords strategy of hitting ball players late so it was hardly a surprise that it was going on.
They go down to 12 men at that point, which should have happened, then we go on to win the game. Lets see if Tommy Lee picks up a ban.

I'm surprised no one else has been dragged up before the beak then if travis was being hit late for a full hour. Seems very remiss of them

Did you get rid of all the voices in your head? Do you now miss them and the things that they said?

How on earth do you come to the conclusion Burn's punches were ignored if he was binned???

Quite simple really. Yellow would've been red if today's ruling for striking an opponent was applied. Yellow was a likely result for reacting and instigating the flare up, with the officials seemingly missing the punches thrown.

TBF to the Hodgson no try .. Hodgson seemingly accepted it without question to perhaps suggest he did bounce it/lose it.

You could see uppercuts being thrown from my position in the east stand. Surely the touchjudge on that side should have seen them.

Indeed, like I originally said. They must've seen it all and decided against taken action on the field, leaving it for the panel to decide. If Burns was binned for punching/striking, then Walker (+ the 2 Salford players charged) would've merited the same punishment at the time.
