How old is he? Would rather go for someone we are able to make a team around for 3/4 years a la Dobson

I'd take him if we were swapping for Keating but not Burns. We need an organiser and Hohaia isn't that type of player.

If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

I think that's a great bit of business for Rovers personally. I'm not convinced that what Travis brought to the table was to such a high standard we can't replace him. The big issue for me is the scrum half and the hooker role.

Any value in trying Keating at 9 spelled with Carlisle? We've got him (on paper at least) for another 2 years, and if we shuffle our deck this way, we are left with the money from the Hodgson deal and the Burns deal to replace the halves.

A three year deal for a player with plenty of knocks and miles on the clock with an all action style is too much for us to be offering. I agree, decent business.

Hopefully, Dobson will be rubbich at Salford and then we can sign him on loan half way through next year whilst getting the Good Doctor to pay some of his wages.

I can't believe we've spent £100,000

But Travis should be a player we need to partner Walshy when he's back fit?

Spend wisley Robins hope you can pinch one of the Black n White Sh*** players with the money?

Plus his salary I am led to believe to start with a £2 for three years that's a lot of money for a 30 yr old Good business I reckon for Rovers

Two pounds for three years?

We'd have gone bust, good decision by Mike.

Wasn't Dobbo with us for 6 seasons (08-13)? Not a bad stint...

It wasn't a bad stint, I agree. But there's been a revolving door since Blake green got sold. I'd like to see Hudge stop selling our best assets from now on.
I've a bad feeling this is one too many being sold for a quick buck for the detriment of the new season.

Only the club or Travis can confirm or deny a rumour. I am not saying that this is not correct but the HDM is not exactly renounced for accuracy in its reporting. A three year deal at his age and based on his level of performance over the last two years he must be laughing all the way to the bank if it is indeed true. He admittedly played very well for the first part of this season but of late his performances have been very average.

Has is performances been average because like us he knew he was going so did not give a sh++e as long has he did not injure his self :FRUSRATED:
