Any value in trying Keating at 9 spelled with Carlisle? We've got him (on paper at least) for another 2 years, and if we shuffle our deck this way, we are left with the money from the Hodgson deal and the Burns deal to replace the halves.
A three year deal for a player with plenty of knocks and miles on the clock with an all action style is too much for us to be offering. I agree, decent business.
Hopefully, Dobson will be rubbich at Salford and then we can sign him on loan half way through next year whilst getting the Good Doctor to pay some of his wages.
