Costigan would be a loss. I watched him intently at last years World Cup. When PNG played NZ at Headingley he was the stand out player. I don't think he's hit those nights for us but his defence, anywhere, whether that be from marker, broken field, one on one or whatever is exceptional. If he goes, it's a loss. Hasn't looked happy in red and white though.

I think Cox is our second best defender after Costigan. He's an old skool leg tackler that needs to first in the contact with someone else wrapping the ball. Moving him to prop would be a waste. He is however to thick to ever be a great player, but we need to have him working within a system that he buys into, and that goes for the whole squad.

Morgan had us constantly exceeding the sum of our parts, that's what good coaches do.

Chester needs to find that.

My, we are a bit touchy. Not a very trustworthy source your contact if he is in fact employed by the club and discloses true information not officially released or alternatively untrue information. Either way maybe if you have the interest of the club at heart you should confidentially have a word with the CEO and let him know that we have a mole in the camp. Your source is obviously not the sort of staff we should be employing.

No Ginge, I don't know the score. I thought I did but apparently not. We will have to wait and see how things unfold in the search for a high profile 9, a prop, another half back, and a back rower.
