Bradford Rugby Club was formed in 1863, and is thus the oldest of the original clubs that are still playing. So it's a reference to a proud tradition. As a bonus, it gives trolls the chance to leap out and claim the usual drivel, so it's kinda win-win all round as everyone's happy.

What is it with you and trolls? Just because someone has a bit of a joke/banter it doesn't necessarily mean thier trolling

always wondered if you are the oldest club, as in Hull reckitts are the oldest amateur club. Who did they play?
