Sky arent that bothered about our viewing figures otherwise why push superleague games on a thursday to SS3/4? We are playing second fiddle to a pub sport on sky sports 1!

They know they got a steal with the new contract, bet a year before it expires we will be moved back to the prime channel, (if people havnt already cancelled subscriptions due to rising costs to pay for football deals)

Does anyone really see ss1 as a more prominent channel than ss2 3 or 4? They're just another line on the planner

reading on twitter last night, the rugby league on tv handle posted that since being moved from sky sports 1 this season, viewing figures are down on last year

not sure if all these virgin media, BT etc carry all 6 sky sports channels (inc SSN)

Well after watching Wakey score easy tries against them last night, I think you've got every chance of getting a result. The other good news is that Craig Hall won't be part of your defence.

Before making such an assessment of our chances, I would suggest you check out Wigan's home form versus their away form. Following that, check out Rover's away results and then come back to me.

Cheers.

If the non sky carriers don't show some channels then I think its a valid point. If they do then I don't think the move from ss1 to ss3 is the reason, more likely to do with advertising or just general interest in the games being shown.

We won't be at home though but at least we won't be playing in Yorkshire , we are finding difficult to win matches there , made a start this week though , just.

Playing second fiddle to a pub sport which despite being on television, attract crowds' most SL clubs would love to have every week, maybe there's a clue there somewhere.
