He's forgotten about the 40 page thread on here after the 2013 final.
Tbf, it took us a month and the 76 points you shipped against Huddersfield to get over the 40, before it collapsed under the weight of it's own pettiness. The equivalent is already at 11 on the Hull board, excluding a couple of ancillary threads and the stuff on here. And quite right too, in the absence of silverware, we might as well seize the silver linings from each other's clouds.
Flicked through it (the 2013 thread) quickly and after one dig on the Sunday, by the Wednesday I was offering the consolation that your forgettable performance would be soon forgotten and that it'd be the semi-final you remembered. Now, for purely selfish reasons, I hope I was right. I always remember 2011 as ending on a high, as we reached the play-offs by narrowly beating Cas in an emotional send-off for Morgan, Fisher et al. The subsequent unceremonious ejection from said play-offs is just a footnote.
First of all congratulations to Leeds, fantastic team, head and shoulders above anyone in this league and fully deserve to win the treble. We were no where near good enough, even if we'd played better we'd have lost, Leeds in that mood are a force. Finally, congratulations to Hull fc, best result they've had this year and finally a Wembley win for there record books!!! Seriously tho, they have finally confirmed their small club status, mocking a club playing in a major final, getting repetitive strain injury of the wrist over a game involving a club that apparently never registered on their radar.. oh how the average have fallen. Maybe Adam could use this great result to sell some passes, just think if you'd managed to get to this final you could have afforded to pay Mr Allam to let you use a couple of stands...

I was absolutely gutted yesterday, we had a real everything we touched turned to sh*t day. They happen, although they usually seem to be against Wigan. The fact is, Leeds are a top quality side and we earned the right to be there. Regardless of what happened, the trolls can't take that away from us. I'm still hacked off but what we need now is for them to pull themselves together quickly as although we are in a strong position in the qualifiers, we need a gritty performance against Wakie on Sunday, and that will go a long way to repairing the damage done to the players confidence.
If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.
Barham Red has posted this evening, that he hasn't responded to any of you says a lot about his dignity and the bully boy attitude of people like you.
Hey Goose, I haven't posted on here tonight as only got back a couple of hours ago. Barham has stuck his red and white hat above the parapet earlier and in the spirit of fair response has had it riddled with black and white bullet holes. I can't speak for him, but would imagine the reason he hasn't responded is like our team yesterday, he probably realised too late that he got his tactics wrong.
Have read some of the posts from the dark side trolls and the usual suspects. In fairness, they aren't bullying anyone. Some are funny, some pathetic, most are justifiable, given the horror of our team's performance. When you said you were dreading the game beforehand, I bet you didn't envisage the severity of the outcome.
We've dished it out to them in the past, in return we have to suck it up for now. Those are the rules. Our time will come. What goes around comes around, but for the record some of them are a bunch of tasteless knuckle scrapers.

The 'tasteless knuckle scrapers' are usually the ones that disappear when the wheel turns too, on either side. Not sure whether that is a lack of moral fibre, or just common sense tbh.
