Our coach deserves a ton of credit for turning last weeks debacle into a win, superb performance from all the players, but allgood, blair thornley, minns, lunt, sio especially and kellys performance showed what we have been missing.Well done to them all.COYR. :thumb:

All off the back of Webster. I think people on here slag him off all to quickly.
A Rovers man through and through,
He's instilled a game plan and a rocket up the players backsides. Not only that, the omission of the appalling Dixon, who in my opinion should never play for us again.
Keep it up James. Let's unravel all the mess Chester left us in.

If Rugby League Rocks, then Hull KR is its Soul.

Re: James Webster. : Sun Apr 24, 2016 5:58 pm
I heard him interviewed by Gollum on RH post match. He was happy but not getting too carried away. Seemed determined to ensure the players do a repeat away to Salford next week.

Good on him.

No additional injuries to report apart from a minor knee tweak to Chris Clarkson.

If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

Good news because it looked fairly serious at the time.

We actually had a game plan and some desire today, that has to come from the coach, it's a long way back and I don't expect a win next week but I hope Webbo and the players enjoy today because they deserve to.

We were very good from the get go today, Cas were terrible in the second half. Fair play to Powell, I slagged him off enormously after the Boudebza/Shenton incident but he was very honest and magnanimous in defeat on Radio Leeds after the game.

Webbo has a terrible job to do as an interim coach coming to a club in turmoil.
He deserves credit for putting his hand up and volunteering to take the mess on, my concern is that the new coach didn't have the same commitment.
