As expected we are for all intents and purposes in superleague next season which is a relief to all concerned. Of course this assumes we beat Featherstone by a good margin but they are winless so cannot see anything else.

I'm sure we will hear more from Tim Sheens in two weeks time about the plans but I think we can read much more into his appointment than how good he is anyway.

As already stated we'll be running a 23s set up. Salford have one and it's a major aspect for them and Sheens. The daily mail article spoke about investment so I would hope that involves more back room staff but also investment to pay off players who are contracted but Sheens doesn't rate. We can't continue scraping around the 9-11 spots so cash needs to be spent on clearing out the deadwood. Then I 'm sure we will have feelers out and there was talk of a marquee signing which I think is needed to grow membership sales. Cannot wait to put this horrific season behind us and to start with a clean slate.

2015 - major missed opportunity, 2016 - stronger teams = harder task (no problem there then), 2017 - OMG What now!!!

You would still have to beat the Giants wouldn't you. You may still have the MPG to win too

I think he's getting a bit ahead of himself we need Leeds to beat Huddersfield and us to beat featherstone by a big margin then even if Huddersfield beat us we would still be above them unless they hammer us like I said were not safe yet

Look. Leeds will beat Huddersfield and probably by a clear margin. We will beat Featherstone by a large margin. We already have a point difference advantage to Hudds. So we go into the last game only needing to keep it respectable. The job to keep us in SL was effectively done this afternoon. I'd like to say I look forward to playing you next year but with the previous bad feelings between our clubs and fans that's never going to happen.

We'll still need a result from the Giants game.

We (Leeds) have qualified now so I'm not sure what lineup/attitude we'll go to Hudds with. Anybody playing with a knock or in need of off season operations could be sent away early.

Also if you hammer Fev but lose to Hudds it also opens up the door for Salford to join you on 8 points who are around 50 points behind you in points difference but they have two potential 40/50 points wins coming up with games vs Batley and London.

Personally I do think you'll be safe as I think you'll beat Hudds at home, but definitely still a job to do yet as that game vs Hudds isn't a gimme by any means.

What bloody planet are you on? Zanussi?

You need to do the maths and look at the remaining fixtures? We're not in SL by any stretch yet and as the saying goes, "it ain't over until...........etc"

After today's result against London, I'm happier but far from relaxed or complacent. You on the other hand seem worryingly smug. I would be looking at betting irregularities at your nearest bookies or via your online account if I didn't have a couple of ferrets to sex.
