If Rugby League Rocks, then Hull KR is its Soul.

Re: V Giants next week : Sun Sep 18, 2016 6:39 pm
We can beat the Giants even without Kelly, but we will need a high intensity performance from the kick off like last week not the half-arsed 2nd gear cack I witnessed from the start today. At least we won't underestimate or disrespect Hudds like we did Fev.

It will be close, that's for sure.

from your post then craig it sounds like you don't think you need him to play and are confident you have the team to beat giants, big call Kelly on his day came be a game changer and I think he would have something to prove he could be the difference, that's a lot of confidence in a team that struggled today to beat Featherstone and according to radio was second best for very big parts of the game today, I may be inclined to have my best team on the park next week

I'm far from confident of beating giants with or without Kelly. I'm inclined to agree with you in that if fit and available he plays.but his suspension is still in place.this may change and then it's a huge call either way.guys on humberside seemed confident he wouldn't play for us again.i don't have much faith in Webster to have the balls to make that call but I'd expect peacock n hudge to tell him either way

I think at home you will have too much for the giants who have been very poor when I have seen them recently against Leigh they where shocking first half but at this stage I would play my very best team if campo had a break down after 20 mins leaving young marsh to run the game that would be a big ask, this game or the next is not about the last couple of weeks its about the next 10 years of your club simple its a must win and move on

From what Cooke wrote in the HDM and from what Pinkney said on RH today the players wouldn't want him anywhere near the team.

Of course not, my team had a game on.

A win against an under strength side with nothing to play for does not alas provide enough evidence of rejuvenation.

Having said that, we were dog turd today so have much improvement to make. I draw comfort from the Giants shockingly bad away form.

I really do hope you win next week and stay up. This is from a Wakefield fan. My wife is from East Hull so have adopted each others sides as a sevond team.

If you were to go down would miss the banter on matchdays we have and also the pattie butties ar East Park Chippy before the games.

I was there this afternoon and thought they were very edgy.

Tough call re Kelly. He is a livewire. Would he be worth a bench spot to inject a bit of pace.

So glad were not in it this time.

Good luck Hull KR, and see you in the chippy next year

We played well today but still expect to have a meltdown next week. By the sounds of it, you guys feel the same, but if I'm honest I expect both teams to be in super league next year as I feel Salford have mentally gone.

Cheers Eastern Wildcat.i think us and wakey fans have generally got on well.said at the time that I was pleased for your fans when you made the 8.good job you did from what iv seen since. I don't particularly mind hudds either.salford fans are also long suffering but no one can say Leigh don't deserve promotion.think it would be better to just have one up one down..If you come bottom you are down.we are complicating a simple game

Yes Craig I agree.

Although the format can be exciting, for us last year and for supporters of Rovers, Giants and Salford at times it has been painful. I think it is wrong.

I would go back to 14 clubs with P&R. 2 up 2 down.

They reduced the number of teams to reduce number of games, but now play more.

Often gone to Rovers game in my Wakey shirt but always feel welcome in East Stand.

Next year call in Ruddy Duck pub before the game. 10 minute walk from ground and a good pint og real ale. We will be there, the family that has divided loyalties
