Great news james greenwood staying with us despite our relegation. He was the one who I most wanted to keep, out of the remainder.Mantellato would be nice as well.

Sio would be better but highly unlikely. Greenwood though is one of the ones I'm pleased about the most.

Re: James Greenwood : Thu Oct 20, 2016 4:13 pm
another good re-signing, he should hopefully develop even more under T.S.
The club is certainly drip feeding us with player retention news.
Wonder when any antipodean recruitment details will be released?

Very pleasant surprise to retain the services of Mr Greenwood. A player who made massive strides in a struggling side last season. He will carve it up in the Championship.

Was very surprised with Greenwood resigning. Out of all the players from last season that I wanted to sign but thought wouldn't was Greenwood. Got a very big future ahead of him. Chuffed to bits to have him for 2017.

This guy I thought was 100% going. I'm really happy he's staying. He's the sort of guy who has potential for international honours, if he progresses year on year.
I'ts looking like we could have a better pack next year than last.

Just because they played in a relegated side doesn't mean they are all bad players, some where good and some where awful, add onto that the squad depth. coaching, conditioning, preseason etc, etc.

Change one of those and we may have stayed up, as the old saying goes you don't throw the baby out with the bathwater.

Injuries, poor attitude from some and abysmal coaching got us relegated. Keeping the good ones, adding a bit of quality and a top notch coach will get us in with a shout of going back up.
