Re: Salford : Wed May 17, 2017 6:52 am
Why have you assumed that it was the biggest game of our season so far? It was just a distraction from our ultimate goal of promotion.

With regards to twitter, i think you'll find your owner is always on their posting a lot of controversial stuff whereas Neil Hudgell rarely posts. This should tell you why there are more tweets.

I think you'll find that it was a Leeds supporter who started the MW thread about Leigh on the VT. In fact I think you'll find Hull KR Supporters have defended Leigh and a certain Wakefield supporter seems to have a downer on them.

Finally with regards to support, Your supporters and owner caused quite a stir after the MPG by invading the pitch. With threats and rumours of violence from people in your neck of the woods(I wont call them supporters because they aren't) and with it being on a Friday night and on TV, a lot of supporters decided it would be safer and easier to stay at home. The club also held a free event at our ground for supporters to come along and watch the game with members of the squad who weren't playing.

Wind your neck in and concentrate on your own team as it looks like they may not be associated with the city of Salford for much longer if the rumours are true.

No Hull kr fans are having a go at Leigh fans for poor MW sales I suggest you go back and read the article and thread on the subject and nobody thought 3000 fans would turn up except you let's face it you all moan that you can't get to the ground hence why you can't get more than a couple of thousand so the fact that 400 turned up on a Friday night is a miracle

The claimed "massive travelling" support for HKR by some people is littered through threads! Certain hkR fans are stalking the Leigh forum and the VT! While I may think 300 travelling fans from Hull on a school night is impressive., It was not the thousands as predicted.

So a challenge cup game where you played a SL team 3rd in the table is not your biggest game of the year so far? Despite the pages of posts on this forum suggesting otherwise?

Neil Hugell posts as often as Marwan Koukash but one has 2000 followers ( so most of the HKR supporters are not even interested in what he says) whereas MK has nearly 39k followers.

On the VT I agree but broaden your horizons and look at comments made by HKR supporters on the Leigh forum.

Finally it was decided by the RFL that HKR were mostly responsible for the issues after the MPG (although I seem to remember your chairman trying to blame inflated away fan numbers in a statement ( I have yet to see MK blame inflated numbers for opening the East stand (3k seats) extra to the 2.5k in the North stand for the suggested number of travelling fans! So 5.5k seats opened for 300 people!))

Most of the rumours on SM before the game where about HFC (dressed as HKR) fans coming to cause trouble, but use any excuse you want.

Finally, my team (the one who beat you in a MPG) is third in Sl, reasonably confident of being there next year so with all respect you need to worry about a trip to Blackpool and a middle 8 completion - a name change is the least of your worries!

So if MK has 39K followers If 1third went to you ground instead of on twitter you might have decent gates

If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.
