Just watching the NL1 final at Wire and got me thinking "what is the best rugby ground in England"

Obviously I have a soft spot for HQ and don't think you can go wrong but others like HJ must be up there.

I am excluding stadiums such as DW as the rugby team doesn't have priority of the ground and could be classified as squatters.

Agree have soft spot for HQ. Really enjoyed atmosphere at HJ stadium though.

Is this current grounds or grounds of the past as well

I used to like Parkside en Hunslet were our number on rivals .When it was full it was a great atmosphere and the hate against us made it so

Headingley for me and thats without being biased. Also enjoyed trips to Thrum Hall, Wheldon Road, Knowsley Road, Central Park and Perpignan.

I dont like this new breed of soccer grounds. The JJB has no atmosphere and I just dont like the KC Stadium. as for the HJ Stadium, wasnt that impressed

You can't beat a cold Sunday afternoon at post office road.

I use to love Knowsley Road, had some quality times on the pig farm end

Looking forward to Saints away next year. Enjoyed going to KR but I never saw Leeds win at KR. It seemed that every time I went, they lost, and when I stayed away, they won!!!

I like Hudds. Plenty of happy memories there. Decent leg room, easy to get to, and of course, the Gas Club
