Assume everybody is fit and it will be interesting to see if there's been any changes!

 1. Jonny Lomax
 2. Tommy Makinson
 17. Mark Percival
 3. Jordan Turner
 5. Adam Swift

 6. Travis Burns
 7. Luke Walsh

 10. Kyle Amor
 9. James Roby
 14. Alex Walmsley
 11. Atelea Vea
 21. Joe Greenwood
 12. Jon Wilkin

 16. Lance Hohaia
 8. Mose Masoe
 13. LMS
 18. Luke Thompson

If Jon Wilkin wasn't captain he'd possibly not be in my 17, due to the performaces of Joe Greenwood I feel he's earned a starting spot, which pushes Wilkin to loose. Another option would be Vea on the bench with LMS/Thompson to start at loose or Vea to start at loose.

If it works out that way we are a massive mobile pack.

Would you go with somebody like Savelio over Thompson or is that just what you think might happen? For me, Thompson was close to MOM in last years Grand Final and played at a good consistent level all year. |

If KC gives Sav a lot more game time then in my opinion he would become a better all round player. I like Thompson, agressive in defence and always giving 100%, but we need variety in the pack who can tackle bust and offload, Sav and Big Joe can do that which would trouble any opposition defence similar to what Manu did for us. |

This, coupled with the rise of Joe Greenwood, creates a problem in the back row (albeit a nice one to have). I'm still keen on seeing LMS played as a wide-running back rower, but the way things are going I think he'd have to spell that with stints at prop/13. The backs still pretty much pick themselves.

The only slight change I would make is switching Vea and Wilkin. I think Vea will suit the middle channel more which allows Wilkin to play his favoured left channel (where I think he is strongest) and Greenwood on the right.

I'd be happy with this team v Catalans:

Makinson
Percival

Walmsley
Roby

Greenwood
Wilkin

Yep I'd go with that. The likes of Dawson, wello and flash ain't what you'd want in your 17 but great players to have as squad players.

You then have Richards, sav and jones all knocking on KC door asking for a game. |

Wilkin although our Captain needs to up his game as other players in his position are right behind him. |
