I think it's a negative and harms the teams chances.

Far too much singing and chanting and folk bobbing around. Not enough respect shown. A few "well played, old chap" comments should be ample sufficient.

Yes all the shouting is a nightmare for me as I like to listen to Radio 3 on the wireless while I watch the game. How can I appreciate chamber music with all that noise in the background?
