Coach Trent Robinson paid tribute to Leeds but expressed his disappointment at the performance of referee Ben Thaler.

"I need to have another look at it but I was frustrated," he said. "We didn't get much tonight.

"I thought Leeds were really dominant in the ruck but they pushed things too far a few times with no result from Ben."

Thaler's performance drew some stinging criticism on Twitter from Catalan players, with injured full-back Clint Greenshields, watching the match on television, posting: "Holy s*** thaler is retarded. F*** me!"

Robinson was caught unaware by the comments, but responded: "I don't think Ben is retarded."

They're all idiots. Has no-one told them everyone can read what they put out there, and even if they delete it, someone will have taken a picture of it to show off their stupidity. Fines on the way for these two.

I don't think its something the RFL really look into, I listened to a radio show this week where players described the disciplinary system in very poor terms.

I didn't read these but I don't think Ben Thaler had a bad game last night. We weren't at our best, like against Wires and Saints, and Leeds was just too strong last night.
