Starts to look like a half decent team but still v little depth and they'll need plenty more time to gell

I guess Wiliams and Murphy may be preferred at centre and FB with McGoldrick going into the halves and Evalds and Fages making way. Makes sense to use the on loan players while we have them, if they're not starting then I guess they go back and that leaves us with little or no cover in the back line. I'd rather have Evalds and Fages in but you'd want to be able to rest young players regularly as they work their way into SL and at the minute we have little choice in their positions

dont forget think this is murphy and r williams last games for us unless gleesons not fit then may keep them on

Think Howarth will be our first choice hooker. The coaching staff seem to see something in him that I for the life of me can't. He's been given the number 9 shirt, but must be the slowest hooker ever, he never backs up like a good hooker, very rarely scoots from a quick play the ball to get us going and his distribution isn't great either.

Not Howarth’s fault he's been moulded into a makeshift hooker mind. He'd do a decent job as a squad player covering loose and second row.

I'll also be fuming if Evalds gets dropped on Sunday. He should go to Fullback with Danny Williams back on the wing and Murphy sat in the stand somewhere!!! What’s the point in playing Murphy just for the sake of it? When we have a perfectly good young player in Evalds?

Oh yeah, forgot about Howarth! He'll be in there with Owen dropping out

Leave Evalds on the wing or FB, let him learn out there then you can bring him more in field, christ the lads only play 2 matches. Leave him out there or at the back. If they leave him on the wingd have jodie on the other and leave williams out of the squad as hes gone down hill since he joined us and needs to buck his ideas up

Unless Evalds and Owen are injured I really do not got PV's choices. Murphy has been awful in the two games I've seen him although I'm told he did alright in France, but still he's going next week!!! Must be a right kick in the balls for Evalds especially as Owens probably used to be being dropped for Howarth by now.

I'm pretty shocked there's no Evalds as he has been a real bright light in the expected difficult start to the season. I'd have thought he might make the bench at the least as he offers cover on the wings, full back and halves.
