Any idea what's happened to this lad, from what I saw last season he was a brilliant prospect and seems to have been underused this campaign.

Is it down to injury, or just not being selected? Personally I think he should be getting more opportunities, as it looked as if we had a potential world beater on our hands. Perhaps a few games on the left wing to get him used to first team action again.

I suspect if you go to the Bradford match you might see him - just a guess.
He played for the U20's on Sunday. He was a little rusty first half, but scored a superb solo try from stand off in the second half - he just cut through their defence and outpaced the chasers.
I think he was unlucky with the timing of his foot injury. Then there was a gap of no U20 matches for him to get back to fitness. I would quite like to see him have a run in the 3/4, but I suppose he will get pushed to the wing again when he does get another chance.

I genuinely fear for Rhys.

He was heralded as the next big thing and started off like a whirl wind. Unfortunately injuries hampered his progression and he may struggle to get in the side.

Personally I see him wasted on the wing. I'd like to see him given a run of games at centre. If Bridge is struggling with his injury/form then maybe this could be his opportunity.

to be honest i was one of rhys's biggest fans and i still am but with riley in such great form and monaghan just being top class we couldnt take either of them out, i would however consider putting him in for bridge in the centres for a few games seeing as he is carrying an injury would do both players good

I think he could do a job at loose but would have to put a bit of weight on I guess.

He is a great player but as stated already unlucky with injuries, he is very young still isnt he.

If you mean for this week's game, I agree. Riley has played quite a few games and Rhys needs some game time.

Longer term I am surprised TS has not given Rhys a chance in the 3/4, after all he is always trying players in different positions and values 'utility ' players.
