When I played rugby I would be Ken Kelly, he was one of my heroes, hence the topic title...Kelly's Heroes, like the film.(good film incidentally)

So I thought of putting all of my heroes into a team that I will share with you.

The team is not like the many best wire team ever threads we've had.
they players may not be the best but they made an impression upon me.

It'll throw up some names that wouldn't normally make it into a topic....

Sorry to disappoint you. but, as far as I remember, ROBY (not Robbie) NEVER played in the centres, he was a loose forward, or a 2nd rower.

I did like RO'M though, v underrated |

In my team he is a centre.

There's no wrong or right.

I think I remember ROBY playing out in the centres once or twice, I remember John Bevan playing at centre a couple of times also.

Anyways I want Roby in but he'll have to play as a centre as I can't see Nicolas or Martyn being able too! |

I suspect there might have been a certain amount of decanting going on because Diet Coke doesn't make your eyes roll like that.
