We have had dispensation for Ratchford to come on and kick the goals and any penalties.

Really nervous for this, could be a drubbing. But then my rational side just thinks 'so what we won our first 8 last year and look how that turned out', plus they're last year's grand finalists, so it's a free hit really.

Anything could happen. But I'd like to see some industry in the forwards with hard running and aggressive defence. I think we can forgive any rustiness regarding set plays and the like as the back line has a few new players.

Agreed. We also have some serious pace in that backline, I suspect King is the only one you wouldn't describe as 'electric'. I'm actually quite looking forward to this.

In terms of the forwards I just hope we can snare another of Mikaele's stature to come off the bench. I think that's where we're going to struggle against the top packs.
