14 teams play each other twice, scrap millenium weekend.Bottom 2 go down and top 7 in the playoffs where 1st straight through to GF. then G1 2 v 7, G2 3 v 6, G3 4 v 5 with highest placed at home. then round robin of the winners where they all play each other once in a 3 team league with a home and away match each done in a draw. with the winner playing 1st in GF. And scrap the 4 nations.

Same 14 minus Castleford and Wakefield, bring in Widnes and a cumbrian team.

Play off format the same, apart from club call. Highest v Lowest in every round.
