Donlan another year with AJ/Pownall to battle it out for me.

Not sure about AJ as a full back but I think it's fair to say that Pownall is Donlan's heir in waiting.

AJ is never a full back, Jonny Pownall is the man in waiting and there are a couple of young lads in the extended scholarship.

I'd have liked to have seen Pownall get a chance towards the end of season instead of using RP at FB

I wonder if Stuart may be tempted to do another season? He's certainly been outstanding this one, especially after he gained strength through weight training.

He's (Pownall) only just coming back from 3 weeks out with an injury.

When i spoke to Donlan after the Toulouse game I asked him is he going to play next season & his answer was he wants to play for us next season

Depending on who leaves the club I wouldn't mind having Phil Joesph from Swinton he's a work horse & beast

At his testimonial at the weekend he said he was still considering it and would make a decision after the grand final (The lads seemed very confident of being there).
