The side at wire will very much be gearing up for the first game at home to Celtic. I would treat this game as if it was a full competitive outing. There are a number of places available in the 17 for the first game and hence i would expect every player to be trying his best to secure a place in the side for the opening league game.

I would suggest our full strength team will start the game so what would that be?

Coley have tommy on the bench for the first 20 mins)

The big question marks remain over the bench places. Who plays between preccy and Eamon, which hooker is on the bench, who starts in the half back roles, will Mossop make the bench for the fist ga,me or will MM opt for some threequater cover in Goulding or pryce.

I think there are a number of positions up for grabs so it will be disappointing if we are defensivley poor again.

Tommy will start at 7
Piggy Will start at 9

Prescott (Better than O'Carroll) to start with Coley (Although if Coley's defense doesn't improve after last week he may go with Fielden to start).

Fielden Feka Mossop and Deacon (If fit) on Bench If not possibly Goulding as cover with Gleeson moving to halves if needed.

We were much better last week with Riddell at 9 and Tommy at 7. I'd start like that and bring Deacon on (if fit) to replace one of those two.
