Wane has a lot of trust in Johnstone at the highest level, he’s the best all round English winger in SL. His display against Wigan with Wane present was simply world class. I’ve personally not seen another winger get close to that this year as an all round performance.
As a club we should be absolutely thrilled to have 2 top top English internationals in their pomp. Hope they rip in.
Delighted for both Tom and Mike...hopefully they both make the 17, as we will be there to cheer them on, but realistically, I think the Aussies will be way too strong for us
I've got really mixed feelings about this... I have always liked international rugby league and watch as many games as I can, but the reason I love the sport is my club... trinity, and since I came to live in Australia, Cronulla Sharks. This week the sharks star winter Ronaldo Mulitalo tore his ACL playing for the Kiwis on Sunday, and will miss much of the next twelve months.
I would be devastated if Mike or Tom or even Jazz Tevanga picked up a serious injury playing for their country... With Mike and Tom in the team I will be watching with apprehension rather than enjoyment hoping they come through injury free.
