YEAMO RETURNS AS GENTLE MAKES TWO CHANGES TO SQUAD

Hull FC coach Peter Gentle has been boosted by the return of England international Kirk Yeaman ahead of the trip to play-off rivals Bradford Bulls on Saturday.

The centre has recovered from an ankle injury to take his place in Hull’s 19-man party for the game at Odsal, while youngster Danny Nicklas also returns to the squad as he celebrates signing a new one-year contract at the Black and Whites.

The duo take the place of the injured Tom Lineham and Richard Whiting who have been ruled out for the season following scans in the wake of the defeat to Widnes Vikings a fortnight ago.

Whiting fractured a bone in his foot in the home win over Catalan Dragons earlier this month and won’t feature again this year, while Lineham’s promising run in the first team has been cut short by a broken ankle sustained in a collision with former Hull player Cameron Phelps in the 42-16 loss to the Vikings.

Bulls pal has advised me that Bradford J26 on M62 Eastbound will be closed from 8pm on Saturday for road works, confirmed on this link www.leedstravel.info/cdmf-webser ... rksServlet About 2/3rds down page reads: "The M62 eastbound will be closed between junctions J26 and J27, due to roadworks, from 8 pm on 1 September 2012 to 8 am on 2 September 2012" Unless something changes easiest way back is take the Brighouse / Huddersfield Road A641 from Odsal Top Roundabout, at Brighouse take the A644 and join M62 at J25 (M Way is well signposted), probably a 10-15 minute detour depending on traffic. Obviously only affects going back as KO is 1 hour before closure
