Just a week to go now. Any insight on team selection? In the past we've tended to go with mainly academy players in the non SL opposition games, and against SL sides have played mainly first teamers first half with loads of rotations in the second.

Ideally I'd like to get a look at Feka and Thompson - suspect it might be too early for Rankin if he's just had a few days training - with maybe Paea, Rankin, Miller, to come in v Bradford. Could be wrong but would guess we'll wait for Lineham and McDonnell (are they in contact training yet?). Obviously Talanoa would be Rovers at the earliest (probably Fev more realistically) and Tuson won't be available. Any news on Biggs?

I'm really looking forward to seeing Cunningham, Turgut, Bobby TW, hopefully some of the others from the list of international squad picks announced recently. Obviously the main objective is to come through without injuries, but seeing that it's 4 months since the last game, just looking forward to seeing a match, and at a tidy venue.

i think we will see a similar squad to the team that faced york in last seasons pre-season game, u19 team with 3 or 4 players like whiting, horne and pitts playing along with shaul, kent, hadley etc

I'd be looking to get Rankin in straight away, we want him and Miller to get as much time together as possible so they can hit the ground running. Maybe bring HTW on at half time.

Id go with a young pack, Hadley, Cunningham, BTW etc. Its maybe worth giving Feka a run out though.

Definitely want a look at him.
