Hello twiddles

Is the tag thing still going? Me and Jakey met up with Sparky the other day and talked about how good it was. Would be a shame if it all ended.

nope all finished,lack of interest,tml as been finished, the rfl run there own tag comps but after last event we will not be entering a team again, BUT if we can get a team together chris at wakey would like to play us and possibly hull in friendlys, its all down to numbers,

Tml wasnt the be all and end all, when we started this is was mostly friendlies and tourneys here and there, we were just not set up for playing every week. What happened with the RFL tourneys? were the rules too strict?

The best games came from the friendlies we used to organise with the other lads.

I'd still be up for it too.

Like you've both said, the old games were the best (Viva IMBRL!).

I'd think we'd easily get the numbers again if there was some interest in definate planned games. I've got contacts at Hull, Celtic, HKR, Leeds and York CRL teams, and no doubt others on here will have too. Leigh and Cas were always up for a game too. No reason why we couldnt try to get a 5 or 6 team 'friendly league' or something going.

I got the impression the RFL tourney split wasn't universally popular, and whilst Leeds, Hull and York all play regular at these events, I'm sure a couple of 13s games with us wouldn't be too much to ask.

Yeah everyone lost interest due to idiots are certain clubs - take a guess!

Funny enough - I am in the process of organising a game with Hull and Leythers at Hull for November. 13 a side Halifax Leythers mash up XIII v Hull or something like that. Old skool rules!

Will you be attempting to get 13 from Fax or you going straight in with a mix? I reckon we could get 13 and give either of them a game.....

I recon we realisitically can get 10 or 11 plus leighs 8 - then we are sorted. Full match!

I'll pm my number, my phone is a little dicky... not my little dicky is a phone, that would require painfull a human/technology hybrid operation that would make life complicated to say the least!
