Basically the player should not use their body to perform a tackle than is deemed not making a suitable attempt to get to the tag and the player is deemed to attempting to take the player out.



Not sure why this was highlighted, its in there to help the players new to rugby league.

The kick off thing, why are we doing it like that? Scoring team should receive surely?

The kick off rule is correct for lower side games (7 and 9s) plus festivals.

FYI, at the touch and tag refereeing courses the RFL are running, the rules Mark has posted are the ones being dicussed and put into action. This should mean (IMO anyhows) that the league rules shouldn't differ too much from this (apart from the kick off rule, but I would keep the no advantage for kicking to touch / in goal).

Anything anybody isnt happy with regards rules will be put forward to next seasons commitee

I arent getting into a rule slanging match again they are there to suit everyone
