Same sex marriage became legal today, just want to give my best to anyone who has, or is, marrying their partner. The world hasn't ended, "God" hasn't smited the planet with plagues and floods, how will the flat earthers cope?

God forgot to put the weather machine on charge. I confidently predict that within the next year or ten there will be a significant weather event in localised areas of the UK and that will prove God is peeved to you doubters. If I were omnipotent that's how I'd do it, anyway.

I want to know if the institution of "Marriage" is null and void this morning as predicted by those who are best mates with The God, its a useful ace to keep up my sleeve.

The institution of marriage isn't dead, but they should abolish Civil Partnerships. No need for two identical (bar from the anomaly over "adultery") legal institutions

I disagree, what they should do is allow those of opposite sexes to enter into civil partnerships

No need to. Civil partnerships are just the same as marriages. Same thing, different name.

Marriages (both hetrosexual and homosexual) are just a way of taking money out of your pocket before the inevitable divorce.

There are a couple of minor differences.

One is that hetrosexual couples cannot have a civil partnership.
