I suppose the Daily Mail reckon all Tory MP's are engaged in auto eroticism as well does it. Mind you, it would be nice if the likes of Gideon, Dave and that pr!ck Gove did a Milligan some time soon.

Think the orange incident was another Tory, Milligan had a cord around his neck for sure. Must be all that whipping and flogging they get at private schools.

Milligan had an orange segment in his mouth at the time of his death, according to the coroners report IIRC.

Yes I was in no way suprised that that rag turned the news into a massive dig at the wellfare state.
They truly are slimy bottom feeding scum (And I don't use that word normally or lightly) just like their sister paper. The only difference is the the S** don't try and pass themselves off as a fair newspaper.

"Likewise, let's hope this is the last time the State unwittingly subsidises the manslaughter of children."

In the second edition: "We hope he never sees freedom.

"And let's hope this is the last time the State unwittingly subsidises a monster like Philpott."

TBH you can slightly see their point there as the state subsidising monsters isn't a good thing (Although how to stop it is another thing). At least they haven't just jumped in feet first and acted like scum at a feeding frenzy.

Well, the state would have to be able to work out which were the monsters and were not, to start with.

And since most parents receive child benefit, pensioners receive a state pension – and fuel payments etc – it's unlikely that the state would ever be able to stop this.

The key word, though, is the "subsidising", which neatly makes a quite specific link between benefits and people who commit crimes like this.

The whole Mail thing is factually flawed too. When Philpott tried to kill his former girlfriend, he was AWOL from the Army. Which rather suggests that he was not remotely a "product" of something that subsequent to that.
