Jesus instituted the church and the church had to spread the faith. Peter and Paul made a massive contribution to this. Also don't forget that all scripture is inspired by God (2 Timothy 3:16).

Kirkstaller - not one person has actually agreed with you or your posts and imo are now verging on preaching. While I am enjoying taking part and reading other comments in the debate I am not enjoying your quotes from the bible without you backing them up with a reasonable argument or comment, instead just telling us to read it for ourselves. I do not read the bible so I would very much like to hear your interpretation.

If you're such a marriage fan, why aren't you trying to get as many people as possible to try it? Why should one section of society be denied the right to be as miserable as the rest of us?
