In an interview today Farage confirmed that it will not benefit the U.K. financially but people don’t care and it is a sacrifice you are willing to pay. He won’t of course because he is heading to the US.

happy Brexit DAY Cronus, I hope that today brings everything that you wanted / expected.
It feels like we've been cut adrift, albeit by the hand of one of our own.

Where we'll end up, nobody knows. However, today, everything is good - plenty of food and water and we hope to find the promised land soon- hopefully before supplies run out :D

Well thank you wrencat. :)

I'll admit, there's a little trepidation in my waters but I'm glad we're breaking free of a political and ideological project, and a centralised power base I disagree with vehemently.

Correct, where we'll end up nobody knows for certain. I've always been honest and said I expect bumpy times ahead but we will emerge strong and successful. Economies tend to recover as companies adapt and I see no difference here.

And it was all worth it to see so much pathetic wailing on social media recently, as well as the likes of Gina "I don't want to stop Brexit honest" Miller and the rest brought down a peg.

We'll all be dead from coronavirus in a few months anyway.

So would I be correct in saying that argument club needs a new argument? A question that itself may be worthy of in depth an heated analysis.

A couple of initial suggestions:
The Shakespeare authorship question
The Synoptic problem

My Spanish wine and Greek feta & olives are going down well. Later I might watch a bit of Gomorrah...an Italian classic.

Wish it was that simple, months of negoriarions to come, a client of mine starts a new IT prpject in the public sector later this year, OJEU will be in place when the procurement phaae starts, but we don't have clarify beyond December, I suspect there is a lot of similar legislation lurking around.

And if Labour ever get back in, they are intending to reverse pretty much everything... sigh.

At the moment not much to reverse despite the conservatives having three years to at least do something. If he proceeds with his threat to impose full borders checks on goods coming from the EU expect them to do the same and also return the U.K. border from France back to us.
It’s easy to make threats if you are in a strong position but we are not.

Not forgetting of course that the Brexit deal on offer was well rejected in the popular vote at the election :D

But you have got the isles bit correct :D
