Being "unwise" or "rude" has never stopped you before. Only this evening, you've damned someone else's religious beliefs, so why stop now?

Do you really not comprehend that you manage to unite a wide variety of people on these boards in absolute disgust at your attitudes and stated beliefs?

That's disgust. Go and look it up in a dictionary if you need to.

You're doing a fantastic job of putting people off religion. Or at least your spectacularly extremist version of it. So well done.

I've not said a single thing on here which could be regarded as 'extreme'.

I hope I have put people off religion, including the other poster's Catholic mother who stuck her oar in. Religion is the belief that we must tick certain boxes to be saved in order for God to save us. I don't believe this.

I have a relationship with the risen Lord. I have my salvation. Sadly, you appear destined for the wide road.

Hi Andy

The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.

Truly unbelievable.

And we had morons on here trying to defend him.

Oh yes you have: most of it. You are a fundamentalist.

You really are an arrogant, unpleasant oik.

How dare you judge others' beliefs: "Judge not, that ye be not judged," you little cretin.

And really, I cannot express enough how unpleasant the thought of an eternity in the company of you and any others like you would be. So thank goodness it's not going to happen.

If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

Frederick Douglas

It's really not that complicated.

kitkstaller does anti recruitment in order to keep us all out of the "Paradise" that he's been prescribed by his church.

Which church is it that you attend kirkstaller?

I'm interested.

And, no, I won't do it by PM.

I attend a Baptist Church in the Leeds area, I shan't say which one just yet.

Are you interested in coming?

You keep believing that. Let me know what it's like when you get there and send me a postcard or something, and I'll become one of them born again Christian types and change my ways. Until then, I'll wait to be stuck in the ground or set on fire like everyone else is.

in the worlds of Frank Turner:

Brothers and sisters, have you heard the news?
The storm has lifted and there’s nothing to lose,
So swap your confirmation for your dancing shoes,
Because there never was no God.

Step out of the darkness and onto the streets,
Forget about the fast, let’s have a carnival feast!
Raise up your lowered head and hear the liberation beat,
Because there never was no God.

No cowering in the dark before some overbearing priest,
No waiting till we die until we restitute the meek.
No blaming all our failings on imaginary beasts,
Because there never was no God.

No fighting over land your distant fathers told you of,
No spilling blood for those who never spread a drop of love.
No finger pointing justified by phantoms up above,
Because there never was no God.

I know you’re scared of dying man, and I am too,
But just pretending it’s not happening isn’t going to see us through.
If we accept that there’s an endgame and we haven’t got much time,
Then in the here and now we can try and do things right.

We’d be our own salvation army and together we’d believe
In all the wondrous things that mere mortals can achieve.

I’ve known beauty in the stillness of cathedrals in the day,
I’ve sung “Glory Hallelujah, won’t you wash my sins away!”
But now we’re singing my refrain and this is what I say:
I say there never was no God.

There is no God, so clap your hands together.
There is no God, no heaven and no hell.
There is no God, we’re all in this together.
There is no God, so ring that victory bell.

Seems Kirkstaller has much in common with Richard Carvath

You have to get right down near the bottom before you reach the gist of his argument but it'll come as no surprise when you read:

"Above all, we can pray for Tony and we can introduce him to Jesus – the Suffering Servant, the Prince of Peace, the King of Kings, Jesus our Healer, Jesus our Saviour. Jesus binds up the broken-hearted; He restores souls; He transforms minds; He raises the dead. Jesus gives peace and joy despite circumstances."

Unsurprisingly, Carvath was awarded yesterday's "C**t of the Day"

No, I'm interested in barracading it shut with you all inside and raising it to the ground, you needn't worry, either your god will strike me down in some way before I commit the act, or he'll arrange some spectacular rescue, or you'll be reunited in eternal peace, it's just win win win with that god of yours.

You disgust me more than anyone, I never ever thought I would hold religious belief in such contempt, but you are worse than a racist, a homophobe, a sexist or a facist, because they all appear to have the problem of not being very intelligent, you "sir" are just a waste of human life.
