It seems rather odd to have 'waited a long time for this day' if you hated her so much surely you would have wanted her to carry on living in a state of dimentia which is a pretty horrific way to live.
She is at rest now surely that's worse for people like you?

Augusto Pinochet was 91 when he died. Would it have been unacceptable to remember with sympathy those whose lives he had blighted while at the same time condemning 'a 91-year-old pensioner'?
