Your job is to say to yourself on a job interview does the hiring manager likes me or not. If you aren't a particular manager's cup of tea, you haven't failed -- you've dodged a bullet.

The pay needs to be capped, workers wages have stagnated while executives incomes are soaring. I know we live in thrall of these big companies, but all it takes is a few more nations to demand that workers get a bigger share and it can be done.

The free market only exists because its allowed to.

The free market exists because it is the only system that has proved to work over an elongated time frame.

It cannot be done without the government owning everything - and we know what a mess that was before Thatcher got rid

The economy is built and runs on the labour of working people - yet all we've had the last 10 years is stagnating wages, health service slashed, schools begging parents for funds, rent prices our of control etc.

Kids can't afford to save up for a deposit for a mortgage and yet the people who ruined the economy are living the life of Riley.

I appreciate the system isn't perfect but there is plenty of room for a bit of wealth redistribution. Not much difference between having £15 - £20m, but huge difference between having £15 - £150. A study recently showed that there are 15 million adults in the UK who couldn't lay their hands on £100 at short notice.

There's a happy medium though. Take the railways, we pay a fortune to the likes of Branson et al to deliver poor, overcrowded services. Safety and comfort is sacrificed in the name of profit, so people are jammed on like sardines and forced to pay exorbitant prices for the privilege.

A Govt doesn't have direct shareholders, so generated profits can be ploughed back into the network without franchises filling their boots with public money

More utter shoite, your beloved Labour did nothing about anything (other than illegal wars) Branson sold Virgin as a company years ago, keep listening to Dally etc and leave the rest of us to live reality. Old people should be banned from the internet, you contribute nothing.

I'm 30 sherlock....

As for last Labour govt, yes warmonger Blair should be in prison for his role in Iraq (Corbyn voted against Iraq and for an inquiry into it) but they achieved plenty of great things.

The whole narrative of Labour wrecking the economy is a joke as well, the GLOBAL economic crash was due to toxic debt in the USA. Brown didn't help with his dergulation, but that's not usually how a Labour govt operates, he and Blair were quite conservative with their economic policies.

The wealth generation in the economy is not the working people its those who risk the capital in the first place and those directors that make the key decisions that generate the returns. It is called capitalism for a reason - without that your working man doesn't have a job unless the government owns everything.

Kids can save up it is no different to how it was in my parents day - my parents had to do it, I had to do it so why shouldn't kids do without to put together a deposit?

This government is spending more on education then any previous government - to suggest otherwise is simply untrue.

I agree a better spread of wealth would be preferable but to do that by saying bosses wages have to be capped is crazy in my view. It wouldn't filter down to the shop floor - the best way is to create an environment where companies prosper an demand for jobs increases that will force wages upwards. Also companies make more profits they pay more CT they employ more staff they pay more NI so you can distribute that to the needy

I do pay my own bills, worked since leaving school and own my own house + get good wages.

Doesnt change the fact the tories are destroying services and people in work are having to claim tax credits and visit food banks to make ends meet.

Thats not the society i want to live in.

How is calling for better wages for workers encouraging leeches?

Youre thick as pudding fella, happy to have politicians use your taxes to benefit their business interests and be thankful when they destroy your public services.

Servile thickos like yourself are the reason they get away with it
