Exactly what I was thinking. They have to get to a point where no actually means something (legally it’s no deal), and vote with that in mind.

Can’t believe Soubry offered Boles a place in TIG after he left the tories for failing to compromise. TIG voted against the two outcomes that was put to them

Turns out that TIG, the alternative to party politics, who have talked endlessly about changing politics, actually just want everything to stay the same; who knew?

So - in answer to the question posed way back at the inception of this thread - Brexit Anyone? It would seem the answer is no.

We may as well do away with democracy.

They've done way with it in the USA, well almost...……… and our lot have lost the plot.
Maybe we need some sort of state rule, like China or Russia

I don't know what we need, but we certainly don't need the current shower in parliament!

My biggest concern is if we have a GE we will end up with a Labour Government that wil spend, spend, spend.

If you are happy with the amounts spent on Health, education, public transport, environment, social services go knock one out.

If we have a GE I fear it would just return a hung parliament with the same divisions as exist now.

Brexit has divided the Cabinet, the Government, Parliament and the country. Right down the middle. So much that any course of action is likely to anger a significant minority and thus increase division no matter what course is taken.

What a great idea it was to have that referendum...

Agreed.
Although Labour are now just ahead in the opinion polls, it doesn't translate to anywhere near a large enough overall majority to get their own vision of Brexit through Parliament, which will still leave the country in limbo.

Brexit could rumble on for years. Oh joy :DEPRESSED:
