The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.
That used to be (and probably still is) my mother's approach. At least she pretty much seemed to accept that homosexuals are born, if you will. I really used to hear the 'God made Adam and Eve and not Adam and Steve' thing, plus comments about how 'dogs don't do it'.
Both of which (if one believes in a god who is creator) are therefore false.
My father's improved a bit, but as I've said before, it's not that many years ago that I was sitting in my parents' living room when my mother said, pretty much out of the blue and with a slightly nervous titter: "Well we know it's wrong, but at least you know what men do, but what do lesbians do?"
I managed to skate over that. In her seventies, if she couldn't think of just a couple of things, then I wasn't going to start broadening her horizons. It's actually rather sad, really.
I've heard 'they should be put on a island and shot' (apparently that will stop it) a few times, although my grandmother has started defending the rights of homosexuals to her bigoted brother I can't help thinking she wouldn't have if my cousin hadn't have told her she was gay or if my grandfather was still alive.
I love Jamie and have done since he was 10 years old.

Advice is what we seek when we already know the answer - but wish we didn't

Good to see that the Education Secretary has got his priorities right, his plan to send each primary and secondary school in the country a copy of the St James bible, has been rescued thanks to tory donors chipping in. Even better that these bibles are written in 17th century English, I bet the kids can hardly wait to start reading them.

Anyone got the stats on how many schools didn't have a Bible and thus desperately needed one?
You're missing the point: this one has a foreward written by Gove himself. I'm frankly amazed that our schools have coped without such a literary gem as long as they have.
